Hitachi Power Tools Australia are pleased to announce the release of our new 18V Slide Brushless IP56 Rated Impact Driver (WH18DBDL2).
This fantastic new impact driver has a world first Triple Hammer system. The WH18DBDL2 also has Power mode, IP56 Rating, a Brushless motor, a powerful 207Nm Max torque rating and high speed fastening.
Hitachi’s all new Triple Hammer can maintain both High performance and usability with its three strike system instead of the standard two striking system. This will reduce the vibration and also results in less cam-out (driver slippage from screw head) creating a smooth driving system.
WH18DBDL2 has an IP56 rating. This rating is given by the International Protection (IP) which is a standard developed by the International Electro technical Commission (IEC) to indicate the degrees of protection provided by enclosures of electrical equipment against access to hazardous parts, ingress of solid foreign objects and ingress of water.
This Impact Driver has a Power Mode which when enabled under heavy load dramatically increases the impact energy; this is ideal for long or thick screws or bolts. Hitachi’s brand new Impact driver has a 4 Step Tightening Mode Selector in order to suit various applications: 1. Soft Mode: When tightening small diameter screws or bolts, 2. Normal Mode: When tightening medium to larger screws or bolts, 3. Power Mode: When tightening long or thick screws or bolts 4. S Mode: For Driving Self Drilling Screws.
Our Impact Driver also has exceptional ergonomics with well-balanced weight distribution ensuring less user fatigue and greater work efficiency with the centre of gravity positioned at the middle finger of the grip hand. At only 1.6kg (with BSL1860 battery) and 127mm in length this makes our new machine very light weight and compact to use.
The new impact driver has 207Nm of Max torque plus high speed fastening up to 25% faster than the previous Hitachi impact driver (WH18DDL) this makes our new impact driver take charge of any driving job our customer may require.
